Reminds me of the great German TV shows of Beat Club with Uschi Nerke presenting it. What a superb hit by the Creation... It shouldn't be bad at all when Radio Bremen should get the idea of releasing several DVD's with nothing but artists from the sixties which appeared in it (from 1965 until 1969)

That was the original singer of the band, the late great Kenny Pickett. The band fell apart when he was kicked out. They would have been giant possibly if he hadn't been replaced.

Oh, I didn't mean it like that. I meant it was his last days in the band. I've seen a 1967 video of this song on Beat club, where the bass player here was the lead singer.
Did Kenny Pickett die not too long after this?
Kenny Pickett died ... ( 5 months ago by gertiemolly)
Kenny Pickett died on 10 January 1997, during a stage encore of "Johnny B. Goode", simply falling flat on his face dead (the medical cause never being discovered).
Kenny Pickett ... ( 5 months ago by gertiemolly)
Kenny Pickett wasn't kicked out of the Creation but just walked out one day after arriving at a rehearsal and finding Bob Garner (whom he once referred to as "a nasty piece of work") on lead vocals. However, they made up years after and even did several reunion shows at the Mean Fiddler/London in 1993 and 1995. There's a dvd of (part of) both concerts.

Does anyone know why radio bremen who owns the beat club programs wont release all of its 60s collection on dvd?Its a shame that america had crapy music shows at the time.

I don´t want to disturb anybody, the song is good, but in my opinion they have a little lack of grace or power singing and playing it. Specially I mean when they sing the title.
