I think Leonard Cohen is great. He has given a gift to the world for generations and it will go on. I do believe what he writes about and that he also seems to be able to predict the future, as in The Future song one of my favorites and Tower of song, he's fantastic.

The thing is that this is not a version, This is the real song...It's true that Cohen always sings without a marcable melody, but for me, this song has much more soul on it when the singer is Cohen.

I actually disagree with some below posters. Don't get me wrong, I like jeff buckley and his version of this song but I really think it lacks emotion, simply because he tries so hard. Cohen may not be the most tuneful but you can't denie his song writing abilities and this is well performed. John Cale all the way for the best version though IMO.
