Time magazine has chosen Vladimir Putin its "Person of the Year" for 2007. Earlier he was interviewed by Time magazine. The Russian President commented on such hot issues as relations between Russia and the U.S., the fall-out of the Iraqi war and the possible American military operation against Iran.

Mr Tsar Putin (KGB man) has a face like monkey :) And brain like true KGB agent, who take control of oil resources of Russia. FSB (KGB) gives him tasks, and Tsar Putin must complete them. I agree with Putin on several points, however I don't like his attitude of "other countries have no right to criticize our domestic policy." Here in America, we LIKE when other countries criticize our domestic policy. We LIKE having foreign viewpoints involved in our discussion. Unless Putin feels like he has something to hide, I don't get his logic.

Yes, Putin is bringing back Russian patriotism, putting Russia "back on the map," etc. But Putin essentially saying "fuck the rest of the world." Russia's becoming increasingly isolated. That's why most in the west have major issues with him, even if he has many valid points.
