Yes, the Freemason have also been around longer than 1717, and the Catholic church has "expunged" Freemasonry. The problem I have with these theories, and these books, is that 99% of Catholics, Jews, Muslims and Masons probably have never heard of what you are talking about. Installing Satan on any throne is the furthest thing from their minds. If they have to hear it in a comic book (Jack Chick) based on the tales of a criminal(Rivera), it's not likely to convince very many of them.

I agree, probably more like 99.99% have never heard this, & yes installing satan would seem rediculous to most...and some of Jack Chick's work is, well crap. But Rivera's criminal record is irrelevant, he was an insider who was murdered..

All the above is definately not Christian behavior, I must agree. The catholic church is corrupt and a perversion of the Gospels. It is possible there is this connection at the top, but I think it was a later development (after the corruption had set in anyway); anything prior was just good intentions gone wrong (such as giving final authority to the bishop of Rome, which raises all sorts of scriptural problems).

Well, I believe strongly that the Roman catholic church is of the beast, and is the beast. Btw, I grew up catholic, and witnessed homosexual behaviour by SOME of our clergy. It was like watching the devil devour a person whole.
I find many elements of Islam equally repulsive and vile, and once seeing Walter Veith's work on the Roman "creation" in Mecca that burned way out of control, I'm convinced that only satan himself could create something as vile as Islam and Catholicism.
