ah mate... i don't think you're biased... i think you have a passion for the Audi's (like myself) They made history when they introduced 4-wheel drive in Rallying (early 80's)... everyone thought it was too difficult to do so, but they did it. The S1 Quattro was also the first rally to be turbo-charged. To this day, the sound of that 5-cylinder turbo charged animal sends a chill down my spine... & continues to give me goose bumps out of control.

I feel both of you. I am myself a fan and an addicted to the Delta S4 supecharger and turbocharger sound... I love all Group B!!!! Those were the greatest times of Rallying!

Group B Drivers have the biggest balls because that's what you need with 400+hp around a hairpin over slippery ground with the crash barrier being either humans or a cliff.

It's actually a Ford Escort MKII. Some of those cars were converted into lower class Group B, that where homologated until 1985.

Just my opinion but I really think Group B was more exciting than today's computer controlled versions. This was a time when pure power and skill were the rule. Today's drivers are just as talented but the cars are easier to drive than Group B.
Maybe I'm just being nostalgic...age does that to you.
