| One thing people rarely notice about this excellent movie is that the whole thing is done in a continuous panning shot, with no camera jumps EVER. Combining this with the fact that they used the old fashioned static background method of animation, while still maintaining a sense of depth during movement, is nothing short of miraculous. Katsuhiro is always breaking new ground, and this is quite possibly some of his best work. |
