naww i think this is a horowitz AND liszt arrangment originally but he cuts out liszts version and plays horowitz's - i could be wrong :)

Well you see, unlike you, I actually know something about music.
As a composer, I can tell you that the brilliant works of great composers (like Mendelssohn) shouldn't be rearranged by the likes of "Volodos" and others, because the originals will always be... well... original. And a thousand times better than any remakes.

'As a pianist' I can tell you that plenty of composers did not know how the idiomatics of instruments as well as they could. Performers like Horowitz knew how to improve the details-often so well that it takes a remarkably keen ear to even tell that they had altered anything.
However, in this case it is not supposed to be an 'improvement'. This is just a fun adaptation. If you believe that such a crap composition is sacrosant (and must not be used for a laugh), you must be kidding me.

Unfortunately, it seems that you are another child left behind.
If you had any clue whatsoever how to read, you would have realised that my two comments "This arrangement really sucks compared to the original." and "The song sounds cooler on an organ, anyway." are two completely separate idealogical entities that are independent of each other.
That is, "the song sounds cooler on an organ than it does on a piano". But also that the "original version sounded better than the arrangement".

Henceforth, if you had half a brain cell in that thick head of yours, you would have been able to figure out that a) I like the original much better than this arrangement, b) I think it sounds better on an organ, and c) I think that the original composition, being played on an organ, sounds a lot better than this arrangement.

You can debate grammar if you wish. However, the issue here was your transparent hypocrisy. If you want to pass judgement, start by applying your own standards about 'originals' to yourself. Alternatively, why not admit that you prefer the organ version to the original and that your following comment was a load of pretentious waffle that has no basis as either the absolute rule (that you claimed it to be)? Clearly this little sounbite doesn't even apply to your OWN preferences for this 'song'!
