If you have the big font, you're running the old 1.x firmware and your device isn't up to date. Download the new desktop Zune software, install it, then connect your Zune and get updated.

Did you hack the Zune somehow, maybe the Asian character font hack? I'd say to hard reset the Zune (look up how to do that) and update it with the latest firmware update again.

Uninstall the 3.0 firmware? No, not really - the best you could hope for is to do a hard reset which will restore your Zune to the original firmware it came with. Why would you want to get rid of 3.0 though? Is it giving you trouble?

Hey, I am trying to update my Zune and when I go to Settings>Update it shows that I still have Version 2.3, and it says my device is "Up to Date"... Do you have any idea what's going on with it, and why I can't update to 3.0?

That's pretty strange! Reboot your PC, and reboot your Zune. Then download the 3.0 software from the Zune web site. Install the 3.0 software, then dock your Zune and hopefully it will update your Zune...

1. Press and hold the back button
2. Press up until it reboots
3. Then start pressing and holding the centre "OK" button and pressing left on the control pad (you have to do step 3 when the screen goes blank but before the reboot process actually starts)

hi i can updrade my firmware and its stuck on step 2. i've been trying to instill it the while day but it just goes back to step 1. can you please help?
