what happens is that our ozone has the gas Co2 which traps heat given by the sun so that we stay warm with all the polution and gasses we use here that puts more CO2 in the air causing it to get hotter and hotter every year by almost a whole degree. ITSA HUGE PROBLEM. AND if your so worried about cancer...the air in most major polluting cities is toxic enough to cause cancer. STOP being an ignorant person and do the research.

you have several mistakes in your text, 1st the warmiing effect is natural and needed otherwise our planet would be freezing the warming effect is what has allowed life to sustain here
2nd, the planet doesnt get hotter every yr
3rd co2 is created naturally - duh, every animal exhales it
4th - the whole degree thing every yr is just plain false - do the math, we have been scared about this for 15 yrs at least

try melting an ice cube in a glass of water and sea what happens... nothing it doesnt raise one bit - not one scientist is even slightly saying that ALL the ice will melt thats absolutely absurd - the planet has been both much colder and warmer in the past
co2 only makes up .03% of the atmospher - double it and it still is less than 1%

Ha, you have your facts wrong! The ozone layer is mad up of a gas called ozone. It is trioxygen or ozone (O3), a gas!
BTW, global warming has been going on since the last Ice Age. To say that man caused it is a lie. Learn your facts! Don't listen to Al Gore. He is capitalizing on global warming and is a politician to boot.
Global Warming gives the same illogical fear as people had when alien attacks where predicted.

The strong predominance of anthropogenic forcing (mainly CO2) in global warming is documented by hundreds of independent reports, but a recent paper in GRL further reinforces this conclusion with data indicating a >90% anthropogenic component, and with no recent solar contribution. The paper is also significant in that its conclusions are derived without recourse to climate models. Those interested can read it online - Google "Lean Rind 2008" and download the pdf file.

Global Change Biology is a peer reviewed scientific research journal, with a 2007 top 10 ranking in Ecology by ISI Journal Citation Reports. If that's not credible, then what is?
