Mosley is an idiot. Cotto is not ducking him, and Mayweatehr is not ducking him either. He is just saying this because he knows a fight with them would give him the most money possible. Mayweather and Cotto were calling him out way back in the day, but he refused to give them a shot. Now it is turned around on him. LOL! Cotto has bigger fish to fry anyway. That may or may not be the case, but Cotto totally didn't want to go toe to toe with Shane in the latter rounds of that fight. I couldn't even believe that it was actually a Miguel Cotto fight, with Miguel going backwards. How often do you see Cotto fight backwards? And if he's reluctant to fight Shane head up like he does most other people, I know he won't be coming in at Marg too much if at all.

Maybe he didnt go toe to toe with him, but why would he? Mosley is the naturally bigger man seeing as he has fought middleweights for the past 3-4 years. I think Cotto felt he was ahead enough to cruise to a decision win, while also proving to people that he doesnt need to knock you out to win. Cotto probably wont charge Marg the whole fight, but as soon as Marg starts to tire (which in a few big fights he has, except against Paul Williams) you will see Cotto doing his usual thing.

No, it doesnt make him a genius. Mosley is trying to get a fight with Mayweather which everybody that understands boxings politics knows will never. I am definitely not an expert at the inner workings of boxing, butI do understand that the only fights Mayweather can take are mandatory challengers or unify against other belt holders. Mosley is neither, and doesnt offer enough money for PBF to even think about taking a fight. So in that case MOsley is an idiot for thinkin callouts will work.

you really cant say that Mosley has been a man of his word if he wins and you ask for a rematch he gives it and even if he loses he always makes the 2nd fight much closer...i had Cotto winning by 1 point even tho cotto was holding the last 2 rounds and against PBF he'd give floyd his toughest test because of speed and stamina and power and he is closer to floyds height not say PBF wont win but this would be the fight he'd get busted up

And Mayweather NEVER fights the best competition, otherwise, he'd fight Cotto. De La Hoya was over the hill and Hatten was tailor made for his style--slow and wide open to be hit. Mayweather had trouble with Zab Judah's speed and some trouble with Oscar's speed and power. Mosley is a little quicker than Oscar and would not fade down the stretch. Mayweather knows this and has ducked Shane.

Ha Cotto runs a hell of a lot less than Mayweather. THough Floyd k.o.'d Hatton, the scoring and the announcers were biased as hell, he was running all night and NOT winning until he did score a knockout---had Hatton known he was behind in the scorecards he would've been more desparate and may have gotten k.o.'d earlier than he did...Mute point, but c'mon, they had Floyd winiing rounds when he did absolutely nothing but cover up!
