I can tell you now that that is defiantly not the original live recording. That is most certainty the CD track from Forgiven Not Forgotten Album. You can't even hear the Chieftains playing, and you most defiantly would know if they Chieftains were playing along with them.

If you have a trained musical ear you can pick out every part so no it's NOT some background recording to which the musicians are miming. The picture is slightly out of sync but that happens - so what? I'm enjoying it for the music!

sorry to be so picky, but I think you're trying to say she's an angel (with which I agree) - the reason I am correcting you is that to suggest that she is an angle is to suggest that she is "anglo" or english/british - which is most insulting to many Gaels from Ireland. She is an angelic Irish girl, but not the other type.
