This is like the most pretentious aspects of a Wes Anderson movie come to life.
Some of the scenery is nice to see, but the shots are poorly chosen, too jerky, etc. It's a bit astonishing to see this under the LP label --then again I don't know what to expect from their videos.

wait, they throw UNCREMATED bodies as well as cremated ones into the river? No wonder it's supposed to be really polluted. It's a crying shame, because the river is holy. :(

That was interesting, some really cool shots from Varanasi. Love the kid with the ice cream. I wasn't too crazy about the music choice in the video... having actually been to Varanasi, I don't think the music conveys the feeling there very well. Other than that, I enjoyed it. Thanks for sharing!

It's amazing how we all limit our experiences in foriegn land to what we want to perceive, except for the accidental encounters that may be thrust on us. I am tired of this portrayal of India as the Burning Ghats of Varanasi, Taj Mahal, Forts of Rajasthan and Goa. Let alone ASIA, that's not even 1 per cent of India.
