Video Description:
iTunes 7.7 and firmware 2.0 are officially released!
To get iTunes 7.7 (required for firmware 2.0):
Just open iTunes, click the iTunes tab at the top, and click "Check for Updates..."
To get iPhone firmware 2.0:
Connect your iPhone to iTunes, select your iPhone from the sidebar, and then click the button that says "Check for Update"
The iPhone 2.0 software comes on the iPhone 3G, but still requires iTunes 7.7.

Unlike all 1.x updates where all your data remains on your iPhone, when you make the transition to 2.0 your data will be deleted. It's a major update. Just make sure you sync with iTunes one last time before you update and (some of) your information will be backed up.

I didn't pwn anything. I couldn't even if I wanted to. The dev team hasn't released the tools to the public yet to pwn this release of 2.0.
Firmware 2.0 for the iPod touch is $9.99 and includes stocks, weather, maps, mail, and notes.

If you mean your old Installer or Cydia Apps, yes they will be removed. So will your Web Clips and all your other information. To keep all your stuff (except jailbroken apps), sync your iPhone one last time with iTunes before you update.
