Though is it because it's winter so they're kinda "slow"/veg 'cause the 2 pikes I caught during summer were biting like hell >,>' (that coming from an amateur)

if u insist on using a jig hook 2 do it at least hook the minnow as u would a silicone one, so the hook comes out its back and the lead is in/by its mouth, the pike will be less suspicious

i added this because of the underwater view which is fantastic... The fishing itself is a damn disgrace. :X
Seeing living bait is just so poor. Illegal in most countries, but even if it is legal, you do not have to do it. - not very sporty m8 and yes i know it does work well, but if you could fish, you would still catch enough and not have to torture bait fish to death.

So are your opinions the same about maggots and worms etc? They are all alive... Also you say 'if you could fish' well often the best way is to use live bait sometimes the only way to get bites... the bit where you said 'torture bait fish to death' made me laugh a little ... like fish dont get eaten in nature when off the hook :S

no its not on a pole its on a cable. yes in michigan you can ice fish bass for a short time, i think til jan 1st. you can get the camera at cabelas, gander mnt, etc..and the live bait thing your morons!
