This is one of my favorite jazz performances. The combination of the light, swift melodic NHØP and the deep, soothing Brown works a lot better than you might expect. And Oscar, of course, can do no wrong. Man.. RIP trio. It's hard to believe that all three are indeed gone, but hey, needless to say, their music lives on. Also on YouTube. But buy the dvd. It's a treat!

Actually - you are not quite right when you said Ray Brown wrote it, if you looked on the back of your album, you would see that it says: You Look Good to Me" (Seymour Lefco, Clement Wells) I am not sure, but I believe that Lefco wrote the tune, and Wells wrote the lyrics, although the lyrics have never been used. I think, although correct me if I am wrong, that these guys were Ray's dentist/s? The relation is along those lines, I believe.
