The Legend of Zelda main theme played on theremin with synth backing. This video is for anyone that loves the Legend of Zelda. Please spread it across the internet. The goal is to get to Koji Kondo.
UPDATE 8/10/2008: This video is over two years old. Please check out my youtube channel by clicking on "ooo6". My theremin playing has improved very much and I've made many other videos since this one. Leave me a comment on the channel and I may just redo this video, just for the Zelda fans... and with much better accompaniment too. XD

the theremin was made in the 30's. Everything in the world has an electrical field, even you. that metal thing he puts his hand near is like a antenna, so if you put your hand near it changes the voltage, so if you change the voltage it makes a different sound. It used to be used in scary movies to make that ghost sound, the woowhoowhoowhoo

The theremin is one of the earliest electronic musical instruments, and the first musical instrument played without being touched theramin,or thereminvox,It was invented by Russian inventor Léon Theremin in 1919. The controlling section usually consists of two metal antennae which sense the position of the player's hands and control radio frequency oscillator(s) for frequency with one hand, and volume with the other. The electric signals from the theremin are amplified and sent to a loudspeaker.
