The pollution data is distorted by the polluted West to make themselves look clean. If we look at pollution per capita (which is more accurate when comparing nations), China is NOT even in the top 20!
China is in fact cleaner than the West!

logically it doesn't make china cleaner than the west...in fact contrary to that, due to the space per capita, it's inevitable for an industrious country like china to not become very polluted. what that pollution per capita does is that it tells us that the westerners are not less responsible than people in china in terms of the pollutant contribution to our lovely earth, and that we should stop blaming each other and work together because at the end of the day the effects are global.
