I was a teen in the 80s also! Wow--how I remember those years...One day, I remember waking up and thinking--These are the best years--remember all these days. I am glad I had that insight--I saved all my memories from these glorious years. I miss these times too! Thanks for reminding me. :)

Fabulous stuff. There is just no comparison between music like this and much of the manufactured dross that gets churned out these days.
And I don't know about anybody else, but this takes me back to the days of Radio Caroline, and the final month or so of Laser 558. Great memories from the mid-80's.

There were people of old who worshiped gods that represented many questions. Wouldn't it be interesting if they were seeing a heavenly being in action carrying out every act to precision. Labeling is to have something to hold on to really, no one said the handle was permanent. Music like this was "typical" in the 80's. We didn't realize at the time, we were in a Golden Age; that pop music would, in general, decline in quality. Songs of this caliber would not be typical anymore but, in fact, rare.
Coldplay's Vida would have been a typical song back in the 80's. Today, it's a super hit.
