I am interested in Blondie shows from 2004-06, from back in the day....and anywhere in between. If you have a good live Blondie recording...I am interested!!
Are they retired? No one really knows! Just days before the Road Rage Tour ran off the road, Blondie performed on 6/9/2006 at Jones Beach, Long Island and treated the audience to this beautiful cover of the Roxy Music classic "More Than This." I think that this song "wants" to be sung by a female vocalist as the 10,000 Maniacs cover sung by Mary Ramsey ("Love Among The Ruins") is also superior to the original version released by Roxy Music in 1982. I have never heard this song sound more beautiful than performed by Blondie! Chris might not move around the stage much but he still squeezes sweet sounds out of his guitar and rips some beautiful riffs beginning at the 2:20 mark - they really should let Chris cut loose more often! Special appearance by Clem Burke as the Energizer Bunny....
