not hating, you just need to understand some of their songs might be christian influenced, but they are songs of there lives. like paperthin hymn, it's about a friend who recently died from cancer i think, before recording. they are songs about their lives. and as far as them selling their records at christian stores, well they should and thats a good thing, just like switchfoot has there stuff sold at christian stores and played on the FISH, but are they a christian band? no they are not.

actually YES! SWITCHFOOT IS a Christian band, too. Just because their songs don't literally tlk about God and Jesus doesn't mean they are Not Christians...

However, Stephen Christian denies these claims, stating in an interview, "I think we're categorized like that a lot because we're on Tooth & Nail Records, which, years ago, was known as a Christian label and never lost that reputation. Well Anberlin is christian in a way that none of there music swears and the members are christian. (i think). But there also "not" christian because there songs are not about god/jesus/ christian based catagories. But, i do refer to them as a "good" band as in lyrics, not in there actual music and how they preform because there are insanley awesome at playing/singing/writing/all the stuff involved with writing, because of the fact that they do not cuss or
sing about "bad" stuff.

HAHA. nice I guess? It's good that he likes touring so much. The thing about this interview is, I can tell the interviewer (I forget his name) doesn't actually like/listen to Anberlin which is always annoying for the listener/viewer of the interview. Other than that, Anberlin rules.

they are not tech. a Christian band, but they are all spiritual guys. they dont curse and many of their songs, like this one, have Christian lyrics. they shouldn't be labeled a Christian band b/c they dont sing praise and worship, but at the same time its cool to see them, as well as other bands like underoath, switchfoot, etc., making great rock music that can relate to anyone in an industry that is very much negative towards Christianity in general.

They are all Christians, they just don't want to be pigeonholed. One thing I can't stand about the christian music industry is that they tend to segregate their artists instead of letting them witness where they REALLY need to witness...namely the general market.

About the part about old people... If you've ever lived in florida, you know what a snowbird is. Essentially, there old people that are sometimes rude, rich,come in huge waves take up beachside condos and only live in them for two months, the worst drivers ever, and so many other things that make me shudder... it's also really bad if their at the beach
