In-game footage of the TF2 beta, demonstrating the weapons and skills of all the classes.
The retail version will be released 10th October via Steam, along with Half Life 2: Episode 2 and Portal.
The classes and the music used, in order:
Heavy: Misirlou - Dick Dale
Demoman: Map of the Problematique - Muse
Spy: E-Bow the Letter - R.E.M.
Pyro: Idioteque - Radiohead
Engineer: Heinrich Maneuver - Interpol
Soldier: The W.A.N.D. - The Flaming Lips
Medic: King's Lead Hat - Brian Eno
Sniper: Jeez Louise - Grandaddy
Scout: Wake Up - Arcade Fire
For anyone calling me a n00b: check out the end of the video where it says "October 2007" - this was in the Beta! I had barely played it an hour before I started Frapsing footage. I assure you that now I am a fucking awesome Pyro and if you get a hatchet buried into your skull when playing - yeah, that was probably me.

guys i think you would want him demonstrating wat the classes actully do as this vid was posted wen it first came out. im not saying ppl on that server werent noobs cuz the scout didnt even kil the sentry after the engie died lol. but its alot easyier to tell wats going on if the person can actually show wat each class does.

it's a lot of ppls favorite class since you don't have to be in the line of fire to kill someone, which makes it a WHOLE LOT EASIER to kill others....I usually call demos the spammers, since they can "spam" i.e. continually throw bombs at a certain pt, without even seeing the enemy and get a lot of kills from it....

hes me more preffered class because i LOVE grenades :P and i would sa using the sticky bomb launcher would be good for long range cause there would a snipere shoot your teammates so you could hold down mouse 2 and shoot and blow him see thats why he is my favorite class XP

Everyone is ubernoobs. This was filmed about 2 days into the open beta of TF2, meaning that the vast majority of people I was playing with (and therefore filming) had barely touched the game or got to grips with the maps, including myself. If you want to see me take on some skilled players, check out my updated video.
