The LA Galaxy come into this game in crisis. Manager Ruud Gullit has quit the club and General Manager Alexi Lalas has been sacked following a disastrous run of form. Assistant coach Cobi Jones has taken over the managerial reigns on an interim basis and he will be looking to big stars David Beckham and Landon Donovan to lead the team into some better form after a wretched few games. City rivals Chivas USA will no doubt be looking to further the gloom surrounding the LA Galaxy and they will also be looking to bounce back after losing 3-2 at the KC Wizards in their last MLS game.
