The people of America are overwhelmingly opposed to this bailout scam. It's the leadership of both major political parties who pushed it. The striking thing is that if either McCain or Obama had opposed the bailout, they'd get a huge bump in votes- but neither did. Both parties are owned by Wall St.

You're right - but its unfortunate that no one ever seems to learn. How many times has the US people bailed out wall street? look over 100 years and the cost to the tax payers is mind boggling. Both parties talk about capitalism and freemarket, but neither of them actually practice it once they get into power. It doesn't help that the public keep voting in the same idiots.

I think it's a good thing he ran independent
as it's allowed them to escape the disgusting "sopiler" label Democrats placed on Nader.
Also he said from the begininng he was an ally not competitor of the Green Party. It's actually amplified votes for progressives as Nader/Gozalez &McKinney/ Clemente share the same message but especial due their different ethnicities (Lebones American, Mexican American, PArfican American women, Puerto Rican American women)reach out to different communities

Everyone with half a brain knew that the bailout was a BIG BIG MISTAKE. We're killing ourselves by wasting more money. They tell people "save save save" but the govt. can't even take its own advice. It's BS.
And I honestly don't see Nader up there as much as Kucinich and Paul to support him. I really don't know too much about the dude other than he wrote some good book about cars.
