I think this is cool considering this is a cheap way to have a projector & not go broke doing it & so what it is a little bulky, I for one do not care about the size as long as I can have one for the 1st time in my life, so kudos guy on such a wonderfull tutoral. I will be making mine as soon as possible & for the people that already have a portable projector okay it is not for you, but for us, it is. Dude you are my hero. Now I can hook my Hackintosh to it,yeh boy, Follow the white rabbit neo!

wow i wish i had your skills ! can i keep you in my closet and bring you out to fix all my film equipment every time something fails? which it does at alarming regularity. I could feed you jelly babies and water which i mostly eat because its all i can afford because of all the equipment bank loans.

an over head projector lamp only has a life of 50 hours, so what im saying is, all that money you saved on building a DIY projector would go towards new lamps for the over head projector...if anyone can prove other wise that an overhead projector lamp can last more than 1000 hours then this idea might not be so futile after all.

Have you done this yourself already? After some research, I've deemed this idea to be quite unfeasable as over head projector bulbs last only 50 hours...looking forward to your reply.

u place it on some kind a projector... but... maybe you also can place the hole lcd tv or antother tv on that projector.. without opening it..

No i have not done it myself yet, but i have an overhead projector ready for the purpose. I will start build one when i move into my new apartment. 50 hours lifetime for a bulb? They usually last for 10000+ hours. try google "400w bulb hours"

But yea i guess it depends on what bulb you are using.. the higher lumens the lower lifetime.. i was searching around and found a bulb with only 12 hour lifetime, but also ones with alot more
