| I think Bill grossly under-exaggerated the importance of scientific discoveries, such as dealings with Mars. Also, the way he portrayed people who are interested in space, let alone just scientists, was so far fetched and narrow minded it made me think twice about how much respect I have for Bill and his opinion. Needless to say, I disagree with his views on the matter. |

| he was being ironic...i hope. it's so sad that the stupid war had taken the focus away from exciting things like the mars expedition and other scientific breakthroughs. just think of the opportunity cost of this iraq war. a lot of great things could have been achieved not just in the scientific arena but also in social and economic areas. that's why you have to elect a smart and educated guy to the higest office. |

| It didn't sound very ironic, it seemed more derogative if anything, but you could be right. And yes, I couldn't agree more with the need for an actual intellect to be the President, but that alone would do next to nil when it comes to solving the real problems of the world, of which I cannot even begin to describe. |
