Haha. Typical youtube comment. I mean come on, Sonata Arctica will never ever be better than stratovarius, simple: Sonata Arctica has always played what Stratovarius already created. Even Tony Kakko said they play "stratovarius-type of music". The only thing SA got better are the Lyrics, thats it. Anyone who says Stratovarius, compared to Sonata Arctica, is Crap...

Don´t get me wrong, I like Stratovarius. I saw them on their last tour and absolutely LOVED their lineup.
But its no comparison to Sonata Arctica anymore. Their first album Ecliptica sound like Strato that´s for sure...
But then they´ve created their own unique style which is in fairness simply better.

well then i guess its simply a matter of opinion. Cuz i loved Ecliptica but i cannot tell you in words how dissapointing Unia was for me.

Really? That´s funny, in my opion Ecliptica is their worst and Unia their 2nd best album (after Reckoning Night). It´s not speed metal anymore like Strato and while I like Strato and Ecliptica I just love their other albums much more. But I think that´s ok, to each his own :-)
