They do have swing clubs...at least my town does once a month where everyone gets together and learns some moves in East Coast Swing/jive/lindy and then there are a few hours of just social dancing...it's great for picking up cool moves!

yeah, it was ok. I'll give them props for the high speed and the intensity of the stunts, but you cant really compare lindy to east/jive or west coast. Lindy has no real technique, they just kind of flail aroung at a fast speed. At least jive dancers have technique and speed and west coast dancers are smooth and in control, not like this.

And lastly, most people accept the fact Lindy Hop doesn't have as clean lines as standardized ballroom dances, but that's because it's a vernacular jazz dance (and the original swing dance at that), not a ballroom dance. The dancers certainly were NOT flailing around at fast speed. If you really think this is the case, I'd like to see you try dancing to 280+ bpm.
