Ok Ok. Exorcist The Beginning and Dominion: Prequel to the exorcist are the same story but with different outcomes. The little deformed boy you see here is Dominion. Both are good in my opinion. A good storyline is more important than spooks and horror.

This film was made twice. This version was shelved and a new version was made. Later, this version was released as Dominion: Prequel to the Exoricst.

The difference is, what I remember, that beginning had very cheesy cgi that made the movie more stupid, and it was basically a gore and gross-out fest. Dominion is much more serious, with dark atmosphere. Also, the finale with the demon at the end is SOOO much better than the one in Beginning.

This movie was made in 2003 but the studio didn't like it and made another version with another director, which is the one from 2005 with the possessed woman.
