Ninja Gaiden: Dragon Sword is the first game for the Nintendo DS developed by Techmo's famed Team Ninja and directed by Tomonobu Itagaki. The isometric 3rd person 3D graphical style, mixing true 3D sprites with pre-rendered backgrounds, meshes with a responsive and intuitive control system making this a truly unique action title. Unlike the traditional action adventure games input method, using buttons and the D-pad, with Dragon Sword you hold the DS vertically like a book, and use the stylus to jump, attack and do combos and special attacks, with the buttons only used for blocking and evading attacks. The vertical screen, with the left pane for a map and the right for action, makes the 3D environments feel more spacious, and allows for larger characters, such as this end of level boss, to be displayed without compromising the interactive and responsive gameplay or the graphical quality. Ninja Gaiden: Dragon Sword will be released in Japan this November.

| Not to be a bother, but most game systems do support 3D. It's just that most of the developers/programmers are too lazy to create 3D. |
