Another Philly match that happeed. I remember Philly going a bit crazy when Dreamer came out. I was happy as fuck cause i thought WWF signed him at first. I was young and stupid back then though. I would have loved to see a Taz HHH fued...but WWF would never do it. A Raven/HHH fued would have been awesome. or even a Raven/Jericho fued. Dreamer and Raven could have atleast won an IC title...ATLEAST.

yeah have you noticed that NO former WCW or ECW superstar was successful in the WWE when they switched over? I mean with the exception of Eddie Guerrero R.I.P. Some can say Booker T & Benoit...but look at how it happened...Benoit gets demoted basically to ECW and we know what happened after that...and Booker has to transform into a "black british-type king" before they put that title around his waist. Any world champions in WCW & ECW were European Champions at best in WWE. Mis-used talent man...

Fuck Sting he sucks and this was before WWE bought WCW Taz left ECW before that and became Tazz but when Mike Awesome went to WCW as ECW champ they let Tazz go back and beat him for the title and bring it to WWE so they could then promote the Tommy Dreamer vs Taz match to come where Dreamer won and brought the title back to ECW. Vince did them a favor and gave ECW WWF air time.He buried them after the buyout though yes 100% but this was a nice thing Vince did.

All guys you mentioned were World Champs not European champs. RVD had a run with the belt but for some reason maybe the pot smoking with sabu thing they burried him. Goldberg also got a fraudulent run and thats when it became unwatchable. I didnt think the WCW guys were good enough to be WWE champ and Benoit and Guerrero especially should never have been World champion. Bokker T deserved it and was a better fit. WCW was crap the only good thing was the WWF guys like Savage, Nash and Hall

Even the old WWF day guys they had everyone and those guys were watchable to a degree but then the WCW guys were Alex Wright, Disco Inferno, Glacier, Mortis, Taskmaster, Shockmaster... So many awful guys and boring matches. WCW was awful and sold out for a reason. Vince got all the dank guys from them that they missed on like Austin, HHH, Jericho, Big Show, Mick Foley the list goes on. Fuck WCW

yeah the guys i mentioned WERE World Champs...but if you notice i said besides them...no one else from any other company was booked correctly once they came over to the WWE. LOL. You sound just like Vince, I'm sure he felt the same way. I think some guys were good enough and paid dues to wear the strap once or twice, but they weren't taken seriously in WWE. But i do agree, at first i DIDN'T like Guerrero as Champ. I thought it was rushed, but eh, it grew on me and he was better than i thought.

your right they werent booked correctly, guys like Scott Steiner should never have been in a main event. His work against HHH was some of the worst shit I've ever seen. Watch there match from the Rumble the crowd is heated that they have to watch a Steiner title match. WCW guys were boring and couldn't get over with the WWE crowd. I chose sides in 96 and havent looked back. I chose WWF and even when they were getting mangled by WCW I couldnt believe it would last since it wasnt even close.

LOL oh i remember, that was the match Steiner couldn't even pick Triple H up for a simple double underhook, Triple H tried his BEST to make Steiner look decent in that match but nah, he was asked to work a match not a miracle.

Fans that were die hard for WWF wanted too see those guys lose to the WWF guys we had been following. WCW fans might not like it but thats how it goes and it was great too see them buried. Stephanies reaction to the end of the match is great, the chemistry between them is clear and HHH needed to be pushed over the ECW guys there because they are the big time so a guy like Dreamer should get dropped by The Game. Stephanie was so hot back then too, McMahon - Helmsley era was awesome, WCW was bad

Triple H dominated Tazz in this match. If Vince would have let tazz be like he was in the old ECW be would have beaten triple H's Ass and its true. Tazz will always be the human suplex machine and its too bad he retired because he would've been a great wwe champion
