Short grain rice should do the rounder the rice the better maybe sushi rice??,sand is also possible.

I make tennis ball juggling balls in a similar manner, but I'm looking forward to eliminating the tennis balls now. I bet they will give a much better feel as well as reducing the price. THANKS !!!!!!

The balls have an awesome grip.If you feel the balls are a little hard use less layers of balloons.

Oh my gosh! What a great idea! I went to the pet store and found millet as lizard litter, for about $12. I bought two 75 bags of balloons, white and multicolor. I used the white for the inside and the colors for the out side. for about $30 I made 6 kick ass juggling balls. I am so going to get cool designed balloons, it is perfect for a juggling club or school. Or if you just want to match color with your outfit. You can make anything. Thank you so much. This was PERFECT! 5/5. Bravo.

**oops I ment 6 kick ass sets (3 each) of juggling balls. I am only half way through my bag of millet. At the party store they sell metalic latex balloons for like 30...cents (I never noticed the keyboard does not have that "c" with a line through it...huh)

The filling is millet seeds,you can find them in health food shops and pet stores.

This fellow is very precise with his instructions!I think he says 80 grams. I have made a metalic set of 3 and basic color set of 4 and they appear to be of the right weight. At the end, of his video, there is some really great heart-felt advice! GOD bless this fellow! Thanks very much for going to the trouble to make such a great instructional video. I couldn't find pure millet, but I did find a combination of millet and other stuff the same size, at Walmart. the package is, "Premium Universal Blend (for small birds) Bird Seed. A 2Lb bag cost about $3.50. I a a 75 count bag of 12" balloons for $3.75, and 3 small bags of metallic balloons for about $2.00 each. I've got less than $15.00 in enough to do a bunch. I bought 2 bags of seed, in the event some of my friends wanted balls, too.
