The Philosophy of Liberty
Uploaded by: Sidewinder77
Video Description:
When you hear Ron Paul say that he stands for the Philosophy of Liberty, this is what he means.
The philosophy of liberty is based on self-ownership. This simple but elegant and hard-hitting animation will explain exactly what that means. It's a great tool anyone can use to educate children and adults about our right to life, liberty, and the property we create - and our responsibility to think, speak and act.

Nobody "owns" their bodies... WE ARE OUR BODIES! And since we were born without legal impediments we all were born free!
By creating ownership you take away that freedom, which goes in contradiction with the bull$#it statements this guys are making: either you believe in ownership or in liberty, but its illogical to believe in both!
Your high horse, get off it.

Idiot.
What part of these statements makes your argument smarter than mine?
On the other side, what was the intention of your comment if not to oppose my claim that this "Philosophy of Liberty" is plain bull$#it since -as I already showed- its both logically and historically contradictory.
The only thing you have proven is that you can't even think clearly (maybe you even suffer some kind of neurosis). Why should anyone take your words seriously?
Either we have rights to life or liberty or it's a free for all.
I know which I would prefer, there are alot of stupid people with big mouths out there.
He is not saying "this is the truth when it comes to rights", nor asking you to "accept" his argument, but provoking you to QUESTION YOUR BELIEFS.
And following his lines if you believe in rights tell me:
1) Where do they come from?
2) How can you think you have rights when they will be taken away in the time you might need them most?
3) And can you believe in "Laissez-faire" and not on having unlimited rights?
There are no innate rights, only contractual rights.

Too bad they won't work in the brutal reality of human existance.
No. Humans should have a gene for culture. So that every child born would have a natural inheritance of literary abilities and the basic knowledge of how the world works. Also sociopathy should be gotten rid of.
But alas, that's sci-fi so the best one can do is to aid in the education of the uneducated. Because the uneducated are easily manipulated, and that will lead to trouble

Neither liberty or justice should overtake each other lest you lose both.
