You're right, but what seems strange to me, is that the president didn't react for this experiment. In manga it is said, that the president knows about the experiment, that's why cibo speaks freely to president's son. It seems, that president wanted to gain some profits from conection to netsphere as well. He banished cibo only because she failed in this experiment. In manga also, she escapes from this virtual prison because of mayhem, that Killy caused with his presence. Or something like that.

I agree, but still, if Cibo would not fail, there is no guaranty that president will not blame her, i personally think that he wanted to connect to NetSphere for the same reason, silicon life wanted to, and Cibo was just a tool for him.

True. These artificial guys were simply evil and selfish. No wonder, that Cibo became as you called a tool. But one thing is interesting (it's not in the anime, but in manga), I mean sc's reasons to get to the netsphere. Davinel was a silicon creature. As he was proceeding to gain the provisional access to netsphere, he was almost crying, that he just wanted to see it, nothing more. He was simply curious. Pretty humane I would say O.o Or maybe he was lying xD But still he seemed quite honest.

Yes, i remember that moment, Firewall was surprised back then lol.
About silicon life - Davinel probably felt uneasy - because they (silicon creatures) are mostly the same to safeguard yet not allowed to visit netsphere...
But still, their reasons are unclear.

And about humanity - there is no much difference between Silicon Life, Safeguards and humans. The differences are that Silicon Life simply has a corrupted or incorrect view of the world - that can be explained in a lot of reasons, for humans it's called "Mental illness".
