1. The music sounds exactly like the record: the guitarist has an electric guitar, but he's miming to an obviously acoustic guitar recording: an electric organ riff runs throughout the song, but there's nobody playing keyboards.
2. Most complaints about lip synching on YouTube boil down to the difficulty YouTube's Flash plug-in has keeping audio and video in synch. That's a limitation of Flash, and of audio & video streaming generally.

I agree it's obviously lip syncing but take it from a guitarist, there's an electric and an acoustic playing rhythm on that track.
