| what extra options are there <_<. are you talking about the MR SE? there isn't much else to add to the MR as far as optional packages are concerned. again, my mr se was about 34-35.5 and you can't get the optional sound package on the MR edition. if you're talking about the accessories then it comes out to 39k msrp but i don't exactly count accessories as options. an optional package is something like the sound+moonroof+hids for the regular IX. |

| and besides, you can get aftermarket accessories that are equal to or better than mitsubishi quality for much cheaper pricing. and most dealerships have deals with at least one or two shops that'll cover warranty even with some of those accessories being installed aftermarket. |

| oh really, you dont count the accessories, well dumbshit. the mr in the accessorie options is front and rear strut tower brace and a more somthin air dam creating more down force, so yea if those three dont count then your pretty stupid. but the rest of the option dont really do anything for preforamnce. but the tottal with everything came out to $39,085 |

| the Evo IX MR has what is called the "Zero-Lift Kit" which includes front strut tower, air dam, Sonic the Hedgehog spikes, and a Wikerbill at the end of the wing. It is considered a Trim Level/optional Package, not an accessory. |

| go to any mitsubishi lot with a evo and look under the hoods, they come with struts already, that accessory is a dealer installed "higher performance" strut bar. again, even mitsubishi would consider those as accessories as they are under the accessory section. |

| another thing i must stress is that even though the company's website states a certain price, it will almost never be what you pay for at the dealership. Its very easy to negotiate different prices when speaking with a car salesman at the actual dealership. |

| As for the "few extra thousand" (being generous you'd spend an extra 3k+[assuming you pay 36k total] roughly for all those silly accessories) you can easily buy some nice aftermarket parts that'll push you up to roughly 350+awhp and awLB/FT(after tune) |

| no im not silly, when I goto buy a car I get everything that comes with it. a car cover isnt silly, an fish net meterail for your trunk to sperate stuff wich isnt silly kinda nice actually, strut an tower braces again wich are a good thing,an the other few options they offer are rather nice. |

| actually if you are pro and get the RS version you can tweak it to 450hp+ add carbon fiber hood and trunk customize it a tad get BOV, cool air, new rims, JDM it for a lower price than 39 grand thats if you know your mods |

| well if i wanted i could purchase a $6,500 7.5L/514 Performance Crate Engine producing 625HP and 600 ft./lbs of torque without any mods done to it. Great engine for serious performance applications with a single turbo easly in the 1000hp with my mustang so that would be like mabe 13 grand altogetheir.. |

| no im not a dragster but its a track motor, although you could run it as a dragster as well depending wich way the drive wants it to be. also depending on the track some never get up to a certain gear so they lower the amount of gears ... but if i did go import it would have to be the new evo 9 it is one hell of a bad ass car. |
