Keith Olbermann special comment: Barack Obama FISA bill
Uploaded by: AntiConformist911
Video Description:
Keith Olbermann offers a special comment on Countdown. Keith criticizes Barack Obama for supporting the FISA bill regardless of the telecom immunity provision. Olbermann also explains how Obama can redeem himself by leaving the door open for criminal prosecutions. The immunity only covers civil cases, but provides no protection for criminal cases. When Barack Obama is president he can have his Attorney General the crimes committed by George W. Bush, Dick Cheney, Alberto Gonzales, etc.

"In July 2008, Congress capitulated to the White House's demands and scare tactics by passing the FISA Amendments Act of 2008, giving the NSA even more power to spy on Americans without warrants than it exercised under its illegal surveillance program." -ACLU
Obama, originally against the bill, then switched after hefty campaign contributions from the telecoms who desperately needed the immunity. This too, is an unfortunate fact. Research!!!
