Well the answer is simple, I love all his videos but as a vegan I believe in animal rights and I personally know that man-kind has affected the planet.
The reason I keep getting thumbs down is because the people in youtube are ignorant fools who gave me thumbs down just because I don't like this ONE joke out of many.
I recommend you all to think in the base of a subject and respecting opinions before coming to weird conclusions

My conclusion of that is that it's very sad to give thumbs down to someone who actually studied philosophy/literature/english/physics/biology; just because he doesn't like something.

He's not saying that finding more efficent ways to exist and harvest the planet is a waste of time. He is saying the "concern" we have about the system is not really necisarry in the way that they try to make it apear.
We exist as a natural cycle on the earth. To churn up the surface elements and do what we do. Don't worry about the earth, it will be fine. Just enjoy the time you have and try to leave something for your kids, yea know?
