magic memory stick is just something that contains files to downgrade. just format it after you are done and it would work like normal again.

Pandora's battery, is a homebrew version of a tool used by sony themselves as an "unbricker". Sony put extra pins on the battery that act as data lines instead of power. These lines allow the battery to have programming on it, that put the psp into service mode. Once in service mode, it can be unbricked, downgraded, upgraded, or changed to a completely different firmware.
