Ocarinas can be traced back all the way to the early Aztec and Mayan civilization, but it could probably be dated back even farther.
But the modern ocarina was invented by Giuseppe Donati in 1853

I like the Ocarina Music. You do an excellent job playing the instrument. I'm not to sure about this online religious debate on this page that people seem so adamant to discuss. People should just respect each other's beliefs and leave it at that.

if you believe in evolution. that we were evolved from monkeys. then there would still be things in between around. and if that wouldnt work because we already evloved. well then monkeys wouldnt be around now either. the bible says 5,000 years. which again is imposible because of the fact about dinosaurs. nobody really knows when the universe was created. matthew mark luke, and paul went on about the bible. and look were that got them. there dead.

Humans most likely evolved from apes, not monkeys, the reason the things in between aren't around such as neanderthals (of which there is bones etc) is because we outcompeted them. "Monkeys" live in jungles and walk using all their limbs, humans can stand on 2 legs and so could go out onto the plains in africa (where we most likely originally lived) during the hottest part of the day (why we stand up straight), when other carnivores were inactive, so we never really effected monkeys.

I'm pretty sure that's a harp. It sounds like he took the music from the game, as I doubt he had a random harp player playing off to the side, and played over it. I'm positive he didn't fake it, as it's not as "perfect" as the sound is in game. You can hear excess air being expelled. That's not to say he isn't really good at it. :D
