Again this is crap, whoever said judges don't count body shots, check out Abdulaev's 14th and 15th punch, and the 16th point looked like a punch in the right shoulder as Cotto was retreating. Man, ths judges were really sucking Ab's scrotum here... yep...

I always hate the scoring system in these events. The non-western countries have a difficult time training their fighters for this stupid type of scoring system. It doesn't help that the Olympics keeps the tradition going by getting judges that are "familiar" with this 1940-60 type of boxing.
Who can forget Roy Jones chasing the Korean for all those rounds and losing 3-2. jaja

It is unbelievable. It seems like in the amateur fights shots in the head don't count. In round 1 Cotto hit the guy with all kind of shots and the judges only counted one left hook to the body. The same shot that Cotto has used to finished many fighters now as a professional. I though Pro- Boxing was ridiculous with all kind of promotion like old time wrestling but amateur boxing looks even more ridiculous because of the scoring system.

Damn, this fight looks exactly like the Cotto-Margarito fight but in the amatuers. Cotto has his back to the ropes the whole fight while circling the ring, while his opponent stalks him applying all the pressure. I think the other guy won, but Cotto didnt get alot of the points he deserved from good body shots. Good vid!
