IT's the best game ever created.
I'm 28 and i've played alot of games....including Grim Fandango,monkey island,your Halo's and battlefields and your world of warcrafts and starwars galaxies.
...this beats everything....ever.
If you don't buy it then your a fool.

it's not the best, in my opinion. it could have used a bit more active gameplay but it's still a great game. im still in the process of getting through it so my opinion may change.

Its not that great, the missions are repetive as hell also the "planets" are a fucking joke! all of them are the same it just change the texture of the soil.
The plot and the dialoges are great tho.

i think this is a very good game the only problem with it is the conversations are fucked up in the KOTOR series they were a lot better

I agree with Harry. I"ve played many games since I was young and now I am mid 20s. Mass Effect are the best Sci-Fi RPG shooter I ever played , period. If you dont play it, you are BIG fool man...

KOTOR was excellent, but you have to agree, the Mass Effect dialogue is absolutely superb. Hopefully the second game will be even more phenominal. Mass Effect is definately the most entertaining game I've ever played (sorry Halo).

How can all you people say this game is good, got the game played it for like 2 hours and found that the shooting and movment this game is like it came from 15 years ago, clunky and crapy. This would have been ok and im sure i would have played more of it if it wasn't for the lame controls:(

Mass effect convos wernt deep enough, not like KOTOR. were dilog progressies, and ur choices dont effect enough except pepl dieing and thats about it :I

To be honest, the controls felt fine to me(I even got used to the Mako). But what really got people into this is the deep and very involving story, this game is really for true RPG fans...luckily, I like all game types but if you don't like RPG's or good stories, then you wont like Mass Effect. But Mass Effect is an awesome game and was my favorite for about half a year =)

I have the pc version, controls seem smooth to me, the mako over steers a bit but I've gotten used to that, this is my second RPG(Crysis being the first), if you play just the main plot then you can get through it quite fast, but the sub plots are well worth a go, and some of them turn up a surprise or two.
