Yeah great job, this was exactly what I was looking for, because I yanked up my remaining tomato plants on blankets and brought them in just in the nick of time this year, after finding out the hard way last year that they turn to mush when they freeze.
Pretty cool, some of them have ripened on the vines since friday. I'm getting rid of all the brush today and separating the tomatoes.

So, I've gotta bunch of green tomatoes, all sizes from cherry to large.
Dumb question though.
What's the easiest way to *pickle the tomatoes*(or make Chow Chow), and do you think I can pickle cherry tomatoes whole?

You can pickle them whole. I found the easiest way for small tomatoes to be pickled whole is to poke a small hole in the top with a toothpick. Pickled whole, they are great with salads, or served on toothpicks with mustard sauce.

I tried mixing some chopped up spicy pickled green tomatoes with mayonnaise, and it made a great tangy condiment for sure.
I see your point.
I added them to a mixture of 75% filtered water, 25% apple cider vinegar, peppers, onions, and carrots day before yesterday, and tried one out today and it tasted great.
Maybe your hubby would like them that way...
