Well, there is this new system called "TomTom" that can be put in any car for a MUCH cheaper price than OnStar. That can help locate you in a wreck if you cannot respond. I'm actually getting one soon and hooking it up to my UConnect in the car. UConnect is not shitty either! Don't be jealous now. :D

Yeah, I know that. So what? It's not new, actually. It's a shitty GPS. Crap compared to Onstar. U-connect is shit compared to Onstar. They cannot even sense the airbags! No wonder it's free! Onstar- you gotta pay for the good stuff!

uh huh sure. You haven't even tried the TomTom. You should. It would be alot better than OnStar. Trust me. And then a year later you have to pay $100 a month for OnStar whereas on TomTom, only $10 a month. And it doesn't need to detect when the airbags deploy, it detects when you are in a crash then it calls for help! Some people put TomTom's in cars without airbags!

Wow, it's obvious. You pay little for crap and pay more for the goodies. Name 1 advantage the TomTom has over the Onstar masterpeice.
Cars without airbags? Sorry, it isn't the 1970s anymore.
If a car has a minor crash, and the airbags don't deploy, then TomTom would call for help- stupid! What a waste!

Well you realize that you say AMerican muscle is great? Well more people prefer American cars from the 70's and lower. And for the fact that TomTom offers the same as OnStar...TomTom would be a better buy. Your just a big GM fan and just want to deny that TomTom is just as great. (like I said, also at a cheaper price to for TomTom).

Yes, 2 things that matter in life:
1) GM minivans (Ford, too)
2) The pursuit of horsepower
TomTom is nowhere near as good. Come on, show me an advantage the TomTom has over Onstar!

GM minivans doesn't matter most and nither does Ford. Thats an opinion. And since TomTom is cheaper, more than likely it'll sell more if OnStar were to sell separate. And most people today aren't looking for horsepower, they want reliability and thats where Japanese cars step in!

Uplander offers everything except a power liftgate! TomTom is a joke compared to Onstar! Come on, it's a frickin' GPS! WTF?? No, Ford steps in for excellent reliability and horsepower, and GM steps in for decent reliability and horsepower. Japan does not have horsepower OR reliability as good as Ford.

Whats with Navigation being put in Tahoes and Suburbans when it already has OnStar? That's pretty stupid if you ask me. And I'm not gonna argue about Ford's reliability cause I already proved to you that Ford announced that cause they want more sells.

GM never copied Toyota, ha ha. Toyota's hybrid synergy drive is not related to GM. Oh, and all of you bragging about Toyota's hybrid SUVs, you know who made the first hybrid SUV and truck? Chevy with its Silverado and Ford with its Escape! And Toyota did not invent the production hybrid. Honda did, with its 1999 Insight. Thank Honda for all of Toyota's hybrid success.

Well maybe GM hybrids aren't completely the same, but GM got ideas from Toyota cause it was announced over the news and the radio a couple years ago. And Toyota didn't go from Honda. But you got to admit since Honda and Toyota are VERY reliable, they would make even better reliable hybrid cars!
