I wish the internet was around when i was still a student. To be able to sign on and watch the late Fournier play this lyrical and tragically underrated concerto is a beautiful thing.

I AWARD THIS 1 DRESDEN...Fournier's remark-able tone & articulation save this from being awarded 5 Dresdens,as the concept as a whole of this piece as embodied by the Conductor's approach is so putrid in literalistic anti-expressive objectivisms that it takes a Fournier to have kept me watching.SADLY YOU CAN FEEL THIS PERFORMANCE IS SAGGING UNDER THE CRUSHING WEIGHT OF THE"TASTEFUL-METRONOME"

What a great orchestra. I'm not kidding when I say that sometimes when a big soloist plays with an orchestra the musicians don't play as well in their awe.
