everybody seems to be so good in quoting verses in the bible, in fact I dont realy care if you memorized the bible... I think what matters most is if you know how to apply all these teachings in your life. study the bible and apply the gospel of christ in your life... thats what christianity is... so stop all these hatred propaganda against the mormons, they never practice such a thing, "love thy neighbor as thyself" respect other peoples belief instead of attacking them all the time.

Joseph Smith is to be known for good and evil... it is already prophesied in the BOM. Good to those people who will believe in him and bad to people who will not. So its up to you to know if he is a false prophet or not. I can only speak for myself, others have the same testimony and just like you, there are millions who doesn't. Find out for yourself, invite the missionaries to your home and they will gladly answer your concerns about the church and our beliefs.

scorepions, I don't need a missionary to tell me what LDS believe. I was Mormon for 10 yrs and, praise God, I'm out. You need to be born again and you need to start reading your Bible, not just parts of it. Start with Deut 13:1-5, Gal 1:6-9, John 3:3, Eph 2:8-9. You're involved with a Satanic cult whether you realize it or not. It's true. I'm not trying to hurt your feelings, just trying bring this false religion with contradictory extrabiblical doctrine to your attention.

its the other way around... I was converted at the age of 17. I was on and off like inactive for awhile active for a while type. i also have friends like you, strong members who choose to leave the church. but what can I do? once you get to know the truth its hard to deny it. I have a testimony that the church is true, I have attended many denominations and got my basic beliefs from them but the LDS is the only church where all my questions and concerns are answered

And by the way... if ever there will come a time that I go inactive for a long time, or become totally inactive... I will never attack or say anything against the LDS or any denomination in that case because its contradictory to my basic belief as a "christian" to be good to your fellow being and to love those who hate and despise you. What can you do? Leave the LDS church!
How do you know the LDS church is true? What authority do you use as a standard for testing truth? The bible doesn't say pray about what is true. It says pray for wisdom.
Why do you ignore God's warnings? For example Deut 13:1-5 and Gal 1:6-9
Please realize that because of God's love for YOU and me, He has put me in your path to help you!

you make me laugh :) so CJCLDS is a cult and the others are not? I cant believe a cult have grown so much and it withstood the test of time for over 150 years and it is still growing strong too. This is the only church who does not worship money... look around you all ministers and priest teach the word of God for profit. CJCLDS offer financial aid and food all over the world and we dont advertise it. If this is a cult i am amazed at how charitable it become and am glad to be a part of it. :)

Mormons do not accept the Nicene Creed teachings and that is what separates them from Born Agains. Mormons view the Bible through the lens of the B Of Mormon, while Born Agains get their distinct interpretations because they read it through the lens of the Nicene Creed doctrines such as the Trinity (the Trinity is no where to be found in the Bible, it is in extrabiblical doctrine). Born Agains and their extrabiblical doctrines need to quit calling kettles black....
