Sweeney Todd: A Spongebob Musical (Part 2)

In 1854, a young sailor, Anthony Hope rides a ship into London. Despite Hope's enthusiasm, his friend and shipmate Sweeney Todd is grim and uneasy. This mood is worsened by a half-mad Beggar Woman who begs from (then sexually solicits) both Anthony and Todd. She appears to recognize Todd, who runs her off. ("No Place Like London"). As they prepare to part, Todd tells Anthony a tragic story about a young and naive barber with a beautiful wife and the lustful judge who exiled him to covet her ("The Barber and His Wife"). Todd goes to a meat-pie shop on Fleet Street, where he encounters the shop's proprietress, Mrs. Lovett. She complains about her competition, her own pitiful pies and her hard economic times ("Worst Pies in London").
Don't you DARE tell me I should have used Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter's versions! It's MY video and I will use the version I think is the best! Got it? Good.

You know what? I'm sick and tired of people telling me I should have used Johnny's version. I HATED that version. This also isn't George's version. It's Len Cariou's.

i think the reason why people would prefer hearing johnny depp and helena's version, is because it's the version they're used to. like this, it's the version you're used to. there's nothing wrong with that =] this is a great video. 5/5

exactly! I mean i like this version too. But I am very used to Johnny Depp's. But theres nothing wrong at all with this version. I think the music sounds cooler in some parts but i completely agree.

Helena has an awful voice. The only reason she sounds good is from studio editing. I've watched the special features, and they recorded her singing with the recording in a couple shots and she is just blatantly out of tune as she sings.

They video taped her is what I meant. If they video taped her singing out of tune with the recording, there is no question in my mind that they edited her to make her sound in tune. Regardless, half the time I can't even understand what she's saying. She's not a singer. They said that too, if you didn't know. And she's no more a soprano - like Lovett - than she is a singer. I love the movie, but she was not as good as I would have liked.

this is very good and very funny i love Angela Lansbury although i prefer George Hearn than Len Cariou but ive seen him in some videos and he was good. As to johnny and helena ok i liked the movie but people should never mock the original Sweeney Todd!

I think that Helena has a good voice. I have watched the special features too and heard her sing live on them. Even if you dont like her voice, she is perfect for mrs lovett and act her brilliantly!!

I think that Angela is awesom but i dont get how you can say that Johnny and Helenas voices are painful to listen to. They are great singers. I love the movie version. The play is still kool though = ]
