while Blood Brothers definitely have punk as a huge influence they're more than just a punk band if you listen to old punk bands like the sex pistols they often are just three chord songs the Blood Brothers definitely have influnce from other forms of music like progressive rock and plenty of other stuff but I do agree that Blink 182 and Sum 41 are shit and are just watered down versions of actually punk like the Dead Kennedys

i love how the emo/scene kids are all in here defending their shitty music thats full of screaming and beating instruments. ever notice that all these songs sound alike? thats because there is no music behind them. they just hit the instrument as hard as they can and scream. shut up and quit your whining.
