i've been type one for almost 13 years since i was 3.
im havein 4 shots a day and wating to get a pump
hopefully i get one soon, they look much easier than arseing about with needles all the time.

***I wear a paradigm pump and cut a small hole in the top, inside of both pockets of all the pants I wear. I make it big enough so the round part of the infusion set can fit through. So, I put the pump in my pocket and pull the round tubing part through the hole and attach it to my stomach. The extra just sits in my pocket or hangs inside of my pants. No one ever sees the pump or the tubing. And, no one has ever commented on the holes.***

If your a thin type 1 I would use a siloute(it goes in at a angle).

Mine came with the pump, a blood sugar meter which has a wireless link to the pump, a wireless remote control, a leather case with a belt clip and a bunch of manuals (including a cheesy "how to use your pump" DVD.) I had a problem with the pump (an older model, actually) about four years ago. They shipped me a new one overnight. I'm pretty happy with the company but I'd definitely look at other brands too; they all offer slightly different features.

I was attempting to change my pump and couldn't work up the nerve to press the two buttons. So then I thought, "Oh hell, maybe seeing someone else do it will help." Which was a good thing, because as you got to the priming part, I suddenly realized I had missed that step xD! But I did get it inserted. Eventually. :P
