Oh I agree. I was rooting for Batman, but the Joker was very loveable. And that's all due to Nolan's writing, and Ledger's fantastic performance.
But this film is a battle between good and evil. It's just that the line between good, and evil is blurred. And "The Dark Knight" is definitely the greatest Batman film ever made. And it has redefined how a comic-book film should be made.

I have a feeling that when the movie is released on DVD there might be something in the booklet thing that comes with it like, "In memory of Heat Ledger" or something like that. His performance being so excellent, it'd be insulting if they didn't.

I don't think I was ever so obsessed with a movie before. I have always been a batman fan, since I was a kid, but this really got me to be completely obsessed. I bought all the toys, posters, and shirts. Heath Ledger playing The Joker is THE BEST PERFORMANCE EVER. Taking a pretty boy like Heath Ledger and putting him behind the wheel of a character like The Dark Knight's Joker, and having him do an A+ 100 percent amazing job is a massive duty. Heath made the character feel real.
