Demetri Martin > Dane Cook, but I do prefer Dane's version here.
Not an outright stolen joke. There is a similarity but if you want to nitpick you could find those in nearly every stand-up routine, there's only so many things guys can joke about.

dane cook is a terrible comedian. nothing he says is even remotely funny and the fact that he relies so much on his epileptic movements just shows what little comedic talent he actually has. Anyone who thinks that dane cook is a better comedian than demetri martin is on multiple halucinigenic drugs. having said that just because the jokes are similar does not mean that he stole it although he probably did steal it.

...How are they totally different? Cook has taken the same concept, and changed the shoe size and method of cutting the toes.
It's like telling a 'Why did the chicken cross the road joke?' and replacing the chicken with a giraffe.

I'm a Dane Cook fan as well as a Demetri Martin fan. I have always has a slight edge over Demetri, and now, that edge is way bigger. No comedian should steal jokes, it is the worst sin you can commit as a comedian. Shame on Dane Cook.
